Colfax to Supply $1.2 Million in Pumping Systems to Royal Australian Navy
RICHMOND, Va., July 7, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX News Network/ -- Colfax Corporation (NYSE: CFX), a global leader in fluid-handling solutions for critical applications, announced Australian shipbuilding company ASC has ordered $1.2 million in pumping technology on behalf of the Air Warfare Destroyer Alliance for building three new air-warfare destroyers for the Royal Australian Navy. The order is primarily for three-screw rotary positive displacement pumps, which will be used for handling fluids such as fuel, lubricating oil and bilge water.

The order will be fulfilled through Colfax's in-country navy agent, Australian Pump Industries Pty. Limited, which will work with the shipyard during installation and after the ships launch to provide spare parts, overhauls and maintenance.
